Lots and Lots of Boys!

Not only has God blessed us with amazing friends, but He has blessed Sawyer as well. There are plenty of boys around for Sawyer to hang with, and all the dads are already scouting to see what positions on the baseball team will be filled by each. Rob is still hoping Sawyer will favor his left hand, so we can have a left handed pitcher in the family. We are in a small group with four other couples, and everyone has boys. (Pete and Jenny are expecting in January, and no one knows if we will keep the boy trend or if we finally get to buy something sweet and pink.) Altogether, so far, there are seven male children in our small group - ranging from age seven all the way down to four weeks. What fun! We decided to snap a photo since the Staleys were back with us with their new little one, Silas. The boys were so sweet as they lined up on the sofa for a photo op. Aren't they cute! From left: Andrew, Sawyer, Brendon (back), Silas (front), Cameron (back), Lucas (front), and Karsten. Sawyer doesn't have any idea what's going on, as long as he can chew on his toy. I think Karsten is texting someone. They start so early these days. Crazy!

The boy is 6 months!

Sawyer had his six month check-up this week. He's in great health and growing like crazy. We learned that he is actually kind of tall for his age - like his papa, Lynn. He is so much fun, and Rob and I continue to laugh at how entertaining it is to simply sit and watch him play and giggle. Who knew sitting and observing your little one could be so fun. I am so in love with that little guy - and my "big" guy too. I feel so blessed!
